
India has announced its Under-19 squad for the upcoming multi-format tour of England in June–July 2025, with Ayush Mhatre named as captain and 14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi included in the 16-member squad. The tour includes a 50-over warm-up match, a five-match Youth ODI series, and two multi-day Youth Tests.

Mhatre, who debuted in first-class cricket for Mumbai and featured in the IPL with Chennai Super Kings, brings leadership and experience. Abhigyan Kundu, a talented wicketkeeper-batter from Mumbai, will serve as vice-captain. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Rajasthan Royals’ youngest IPL centurion, continues his meteoric rise with national U-19 selection.

Tour Schedule: ODIs and Multi-Day Games Across England
The tour begins with a warm-up match on June 24 at Loughborough University, followed by five youth ODIs between June 27 and July 7 across Hove, Northampton, and Worcester. The first of the two Youth Tests starts on July 15 in Beckenham, and the second begins on July 20 in Chelmsford.
