🏏 Preparation for Asia Cup T20
This tour is expected to play a crucial role in India’s preparations for the upcoming Asia Cup T20. While India is officially listed as the host, the final venue for the Asia Cup is still under discussion, with Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and UAE being considered, due to Pakistan’s unwillingness to travel to India.
🗣️ BCB Statement
BCB Chief Executive Nizam Uddin Chowdhury called the tour one of the most exciting events on their home calendar.
“India have set the benchmark in international cricket across all formats. Bangladesh and India have played some very competitive matches in recent years. This will be another hard-fought and entertaining series,” Chowdhury said.
