Players like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, and Travis Head—key participants this season—are reportedly “ready to leave India as soon as possible,” particularly those stationed near sensitive border regions.
In addition to players, Australian coaches such as Ricky Ponting and Brad Haddin are also in India. Ponting, who is coaching Punjab Kings, expressed uncertainty during a live broadcast, saying, “There’s been a fair bit happening the last few days… we’re just trying to stay focused on performance.”
