Despite DC being 58/4 while chasing 164, Rahul led a brilliant comeback in partnership with Tristan Stubbs (38*), as the duo stitched together an unbeaten 111-run stand to seal the win with 13 balls to spare.

After the victory, KL Rahul celebrated in style by thumping his chest and planting his bat into the pitch, declaring:
“This is my ground. This is my home. I know this better than anybody else.”
The 32-year-old batter, who was named Player of the Match, struck 7 fours and 6 sixes, including a stunning 22-run assault in the 15th over against RCB’s lead pacer Josh Hazlewood.
